This product was developed to serve three purposes…

One to display collector knives in a number of various configurations…

Either on a wall, table or any flat surface...

The other purpose is to have the case fold in a particular way

to form what appears to be an artist’s portfolio case…

Either to transport the knife collection

and/or be utilized as a storage case…

The following will show and describe the product in detail.

First from the materials utilized and system function:

The entire case is made from two layers of leather

(Outside and Inside)

The raised center cushion holding the knives,

is held to the leather background with industrial Velcro strips…

It is raised from the surface to provide a three dimensional look…

*** In being constructed in this fashion,

the center cushion holding the knives can be easily removed

And another center cushion

with another set of knives can be displayed...

The knives are held in place with individual sewn slots.

Accommodating the depth of any knife dimensions required

for each knife collection...

The wings ( flaps), in these photos

can be folded back behind the rectangular center piece.

This provides various configurations with regard to design preference

and/or accommodate space constrictions

when displayed on a wall…

(The pearlized colored snaps are

in place as a decorative function.... )

Each wing, as shown, is of a pyramid design…

When the case is meant to convert to transport or storage mode

the middle wings come across

and are held together with a strip of industrial Velcro.

The vertical wings are folded over the middle wings...

The handle on each side are brought together and

are held in place with a wide strip of leather.

Edged with one or two tassels.…

Kept closed with either a combination lock,

swiveling lock mechanism or two swiveling buttons…

Each of the wings has two grommets.

The center piece has three grommets.

The purpose of the grommets is

to have a means to attach any configuration to a wall.

Thought is given to accommodate the depth of various knives

For each knife collection…

Since many collectors have more than 8-10 knives,

( Cases can be made smaller or larger to hold fewer or more knives…)

The center cushions on which the knives rest

are sold separately...

There is no real need to buy another entire blade system….

These center cushions can be put into an attractive leather folder

holding two - four center cushion pieces…

with an attractive handle…(not shown)

Beautifully crafted and utilized for transport and storage
